During National ICT Careers Week teachers and students from TAFE NSW institutes will hold information sessions at public high schools in metropolitan and regional areas. At each session, a teacher of an ICT course and one of their students will talk to school students about careers in ICT and the tertiary opportunities available through TAFE NSW to pursue those careers. Students will have the chance to talk to someone currently studying for a career in ICT to find out what motivated them to choose this career path. The sessions will help to showcase the range and variety of careers available in ICT.
